Speed is part of usability
A fast page makes it easier for a customer to get the phone number, read a service and submit a form. This matters most when the visitor is on mobile data or in a hurry.
Images and video need discipline
Large media can make a site feel premium, but assets should be compressed, sized appropriately and loaded only when useful. Decorative media should not block the basic page from becoming usable.
Code weight adds up
A website can become slow when it loads large frameworks, plugins and third-party scripts for features that barely help the customer. CMB prefers purposeful functionality over unnecessary dependencies.
Measure after launch
Performance should be tested on the deployed site because hosting, caching, media delivery and third-party scripts can change the real result compared with a developer’s local machine.
