Compare what the website service actually includes
Website pricing varies because the scope can include very different levels of design, development, hosting, maintenance, SEO work, and ongoing support. A useful comparison starts with the quality of the website, the number of pages, what is managed after launch, and who remains responsible when the business needs a change.
CMB managed pricing
CMB managed websites are $150/month for one page, $250/month for three pages, and $350/month for five pages. Every managed plan includes custom design and development, hosting, SSL, launch SEO, ongoing performance and search improvements, up to five standard content edits each month, and direct CMB support. Managed plans begin with a 12-month service agreement and then continue month to month.
What can create extra cost
Additional standard pages are $150 each as a one-time build fee. Custom business email setup is a separate one-time service when requested, plus the email provider’s own recurring fee. Advanced integrations and custom functionality are quoted after the requirements are understood.
One-time website ownership
For businesses that prefer a full website handoff, CMB buyouts start at $3,000 for up to three standard pages. Additional pages, integrations, and custom functionality are quoted separately. After handoff, hosting, maintenance, future edits, and ongoing search work are managed independently by the website owner or another provider.
Why businesses choose a managed website service
A managed website keeps the design, development, hosting, routine updates, technical maintenance, search improvements, and support connected under one service. The business does not have to coordinate separate providers every time the website needs attention. CMB remains responsible for the managed website after launch so the site can continue to support the business as services, content, and search needs change.
